Montell Williams will ceased production after 17 years on the air after this season wraps this will be the end of the show. Williams said in a statement, “I can’t say thank you enough to those who’ve welcomed me into their homes for the past seventeen years,” Williams says in a statement. “It has been both an honor and a joy.”

The network revealed that the new season which begins in fall 2008, will feature the 52 weeks of the best of Montell over the years.

Is Ashanti even a singer anymore? well only she can answer that, we have not seen her singing or releasing an album in a while. The only atachment to music anyone as seen is when she occasionally makes an appearance with boyfriend Nelly. Ashanti seems to be transitioning into movies, she starred in 2006's John Tucker Must Die, with Sophia Bush and Jesse Metcalfe. She was also seen in Resident Evil movie (Extinction) with Mila Jojovich. The film entered at #1 at the box office grossing $23,678,580 in its opening week. To date the movie has grossed $50,648,679 at the US box office and around $336,850,814 worldwide. This is Ashanti's second #1 movie, the other being Coach Carter.

There are announcements that Ashanti will release a new album sometime this spring. We sense that nelly might be on the Album which is well overdue.

Season one of the Ugly Betty series was really good, the second season is not so hot but its still good, its becoming very unrealistic.
